Back online at last! there’s also… Inception.
After months and months of contemplating buying a new laptop or computer or even the amazing and over-priced gem of hidden pleasures – A Mac, I have finally purchased a laptop of monumental proportions in its own right and we are now back online. Having resisted the marketing and constructed social pressures of
Apple, I am back renewed with confidence boundless as the day of my birth. I hope many of you have kept checking back and are ready for some of the worlds greatest and most conceptual dreams (stole that from Inception) by the minds of our very own. Click “Continue Reading” for more.
————– Spoiler Alert ——————————–
So then there was Inception, mind boggling in all its forms. It certainly blew my mind for a few weeks.
“Did the top fall? Or didn’t?” It plagued my mind for nights and I can say I didn’t get a moment of rest.
But I’m sure you don’t want to sit through another set of reviews and hear me rant about the what if’s and what could be’s. What is more mind boggling is this –Christopher Nolan stole the idea of Inception from non other than Duck Tales.
That’s right you heard it here. You might remember Duck Tales during the 90’s with Uncle Scrooge and his 3 nephew’s and there’s Donald too.
More importantly, does this look familiar –
Looks awfully familiar to me! And if you don’t believe me check out the whole comic here
After reading the whole comic, Inception’s brilliance and Leonardo DiCaprio’s acting is rendered as meaningless as Crack-Berries. But I guess that’s how it is in this day and age. Maybe every idea in the world is already created and we’re just desperately seeking for new ones while stealing old and forgotten ones. Mr. Nolan probably thought no one would ever remember Duck Tales, but who could forget it? It was truely AMAZING and thank you Mr. Nolan for giving me the opportunity to re-create happy memories of my childhood filled with afternoons of Duck Tales.
I leave you with this.
And we all thought it was the greatest movie ever made…
